About

The world is failing, its ice caps are melting, its hot places are cooling. Various species of flora and fauna are dying. People are also dying. Mira, a young woman, leaves home and the father who raised her, to study art criticism. She meets a woman named Annie, whose stirs her emotions. When Mira's father dies she feels unbearable grief. To her surprise his spirit passes into her. Together, they transform into a leaf on a great, old tree. But Mira finds photosynthesis boring after a while and realizes that being alive is not a problem to be solved. Eventually, she remembers the human world she's left behind, including Annie, and choose whether or not to return.
