Bend of the river: As a former outlaw turned wagon train guide, Stewart is pitted against warring Indians, murderous hijackers and a traitorous ally as he attempts to lead a group of settlers through the treacherous Oregon wilderness.
The far country: A loner and his sidekick figure to get rich quick by selling a herd of cattle at a fancy price in this Western set in the Yukon during the wild gold rush days.
Night passage: When the local railroad becomes the constant target of a gang of desperadoes train officials recruit soft-spoken but life-hardened employee Grant McLaine to guard the payroll from any more robberies. The problem is, Grant's kid brother, the Utica Kid is one of the train robbers.
The rare breed: A mother and daughter travel to America in order to sell their Hereford bull and after doing so wind up hiring a cowhand to transport the bull to its new owner.
